The goal in developing the two sister websites was to use the same framework but include different brand elements to differentiate the related silo companies. A full-width responsive framework was developed to accommodate increased mobile traffic and to adjust to current design trends. Since a newly launched site has to be recrawled by Google and other search engines, there is typically at least a slight drop in rankings. However, in launching the new silo sites, both sites continued to rank the same on average in the first few weeks, with several areas showing increases.
