OffWhite Adds Two

We’re pleased to announce the addition of Bobby Schehl, of Caldwell, Ohio, and Rebecca Miller, of   St. Marys, W.Va., to our full-service integrated marketing communications team.

Schehl, the newest team member to join OffWhite, graduated from Marietta College in May with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design as well as a minor in philosophy. His role at the firm includes tying together the aspects of design with web development as we expand our service lines and embrace new clients. “I came to know Bobby as his instructor at Marietta College while he was studying graphic design,” recalls creative director Abby Spung. “Through that relationship, I was able to observe very clearly his work ethic and approach to solving challenges as related to the field of graphic design. He was always extremely organized and showed great attention to details, and remained eager to learn new techniques and solutions as he progressed in the program.”

Schehl, being from the area and desiring to stay in the Mid-Ohio Valley after graduation, was a viable candidate for the job. “Based on the foreseeable future in terms of clients and service lines,” says Spung, “I believe there will emerge a continued need for the talents and skill sets that Bobby brings to the team, and I look forward to working with him for years to come.” Prior to being hired on as a team member, Schehl worked on a freelance basis for the firm, which played a part in his decision to seek employment at OffWhite. “I got acquainted with the company,” Schehl says, “and I enjoyed it. I love the environment, and I’m excited for the variety of work I will encounter, which stems from our perse client base.”

Miller joins the company as an intern, working primarily on the messaging of inpidual modules that exist within OffWhite’s ever-expanding Ed.it™2 digital marketing platform, designed to provide non-technical users with an effective and nearly seamless approach to online customer communication, marketing analytics, and website management. In addition, Miller will keep clients informed about the latest advances at OffWhite. “I can’t imagine a better place to work,” Miller says. “The welcoming atmosphere provided by the restored, beautiful, riverside home that I am privileged to work in is rivaled only by the kind and talented team that I get to work with. I am certain that I will grow a lot from my experience with OffWhite this summer and hope I can help it to grow in return.”

Miller will be a senior at Marietta College in the fall and is currently pursuing her degree in advertising and public relations with a business cognate and journalism minor. She brings to to the table her keen attention to detail, passion for problem-solving and strong writing skills.

These most recent staff additions are consistent with our longstanding relationship with Marietta College as a source for high-level talent with a liberal arts background. “We have a close connection to the college, both on and off campus,” says CEO Bill White. “Our internship and post-graduate program, for example, offers the best and brightest students the opportunity for hands-on experience with meaningful projects. OffWhite benefits from young, energetic thinkers who bring a strong liberal arts background into our office, along with their talent for writing, management and design; all appeal to our technology clients worldwide.”
